There are two ways to deactivate an Instagram account. They are different from each other.

1)  Deactivate Instagram Account Temporarily

2) Permanent Delete Instagram Account

When you permanently delete your Instagram account. Then all posts, photos, likes, followers and comments on your Instagram will be deleted. And the Instagram account cannot be reused.

5. Now you are asked the question "Why deactivate your account", that is, why deactivate your Instagram account! To answer this question, click on the drop-down menu next to it and select the option. Then enter your Instagram account password, and then click "Deactivate Account".

2. Delete Instagram Account Permanently

Follow the steps given below to delete Instagram account permanently: To permanently delete an Instagram account, log in to your Instagram account. But you cannot delete your Instagram account from Instagram app permanently. To permanently delete your Instagram account, click on Instagram Delete Your Account link.
